Elcom Research and "The Digital Ham" announce a new distribution agreement

Athens Greece and Lexington, Ky - August 16, 2006

We are happy to announce that "The Digital Ham" has been choosen by Elcom research to be a distributor of their products in the USA. these products include a line of compact Terminal Node Controllers (TNCs) that pack a lot of function into a small very portable package. These micro TNC (uTNC) devices include packet repeater (digipeater) functions as well as Automatic Position Reporting System (APRS) tracker abilities with full standards compliant APRS repeating capability.

These products will be of use to any ham radio operator with a desire to operate a digital communications station. Emergency communications operators such as search and rescue teams will appreciate the small portable design of these devices. Connection to a Global Positioning System (GPS) device and a radio will allow the uTNC to act as a self contained APRS tracker unit.
